A great username is a differentiator — a unique brand name — something that completely sets you apart from every other person on a dating site. SHARE We sustain common psychological injuries such as rejection or failure as regularly as we do physical ones such as cuts or scrapes. We recognize that ignoring the cut would invite infection and prolong the pain we feel. We clean the wound, we apply antibacterial ointment, and we slap on a bandage because we know it will accelerate the healing process, reduce our immediate discomfort, and prevent a small injury from potentially turning into a bigger one.

We feel no need to clean the wound, no urgency to dress it, no fear of a small injury turning into a bigger one. And yet psychological injuries present exactly the same risks to our emotional well-being as physical ones do to our physical health.

Say nothing…just listen…at first nothing but grunts can be heard, but after a few minutes a word is understood. You are not totally sure, but you think the word was…football.
We know you want to look popular, but there are other ways to portray that.
The Rules Revisited I’ve dated countless women and it has always amazed me how little they know about men. If nothing else, this blog is an outlet for voicing my astonishment at the typical female’s ignorance of the male mindset. At most, it is a reliable source of advice for women who want to improve their chances with the opposite sex. This requires serious balls, thick skin, and persistence. When a girl complains about a guy who stops returning her calls, my first instinct is to tell her “You think that’s bad? I was rejected more times in the last month than you’ve been rejected in your entire life. Try being a dude for a week, then come back and complain to me. Although she can improve her chances by making herself more attractive , she can’t just approach men at will without being seen as crazy or desperate.
She has to wait until another man that she likes approaches her. While women typically get rejected when a man walks away after an initial encounter or date, men typically get rejected when they approach.

My last relationship in my early 20s left me insecure and afraid of getting close to another man. I felt used and emotionally exhausted. I decided to spend my time earning my graduate degree, finding a job, and getting all my ducks in a row. I essentially built walls to protect myself from another heartbreak.
